Rehab Recycle Reveal Top Recycling Counties
Tuesday, 13 October 2009: A total of 46,000 tonnes of glass from Irish households has been recycled by Rehab Recycle in the first eight months of this year – that’s enough bottles and jars to fill the pitch at the new Aviva Stadium to over 60 feet high.

Lord Mayor Celebrates Rehab Recycle’s 25 Years
The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Brian Bermingham, today joined Rehab Recycle in celebrating 25 years of glass recycling in Cork. The Mayor joined staff members at the Monahan Road depot, including those who have been with Rehab Recycle since the outset, along with representatives from Jury’s Cork Hotel, one of its first commercial customers.

Make 2009 a Bumper Recycling Year
Rehab Recycle has announced that additional vehicles and collection services will be put in place to deal with the glass deposited at its network of bring bank sites during the festive season.
